Steve Spender

Steve started his engineering career in 1999 at McLaren Racing as an apprentice, before moving onto BMW and Mercedes main agents in the 2000s as a technician. In 2008 he moved to a BMW Motorsport team as lead technician, before returning to McLaren in 2012 as Global Flying Doctor, supporting international McLaren dealers with technical support and hands-on assistance. Steve is the McLaren Ultimate Series expert with unparalleled knowledge in the maintenance and repair of all McLaren models.
