Since launching in the spring of 2021, V Engineering has established itself as the UK’s number 1 independent McLaren engineering centre. With unparalleled experience gained over 10 years at McLaren Automotive, the engineering team has the technical know-how to provide the ultimate care for your McLaren, whether it’s a 12C or a P1, a 720S or a Senna.

Our fully-equipped, state-of-the-art facility is located in Berkshire, west of London just off the M4, where we provide a comprehensive range of engineering solutions, from annual servicing and diagnostics, to complete engine and gearbox rebuilds. No one loves McLaren more than we do, but as many owners know, they do have weaknesses that can lead to a frustrating ownership experience. We have designed and engineered our own solutions to many common McLaren issues, including suspension accumulators, leaking gearboxes and P1 HDAs.

The V experience doesn’t stop there. Through our sister company V Management, based over the road from us here in Thatcham, we offer a wide range of associated services from storage and detailing to transport and registration. When it comes to the greatest cars in the world, there is no substitute for experience.

Understanding the quirks and individual characteristics of highly complex cars takes time. A young, inexperienced engineer can quickly learn the basics of a standard service schedule, like changing the oil, the filters and the plugs. But to truly comprehend the nuances of a McLaren engine, gearbox or HV electrical system requires a breadth of knowledge that takes many years to acquire.
